Originally from San Francisco, Charles Ferguson has his doctorate in political science from MIT in 1989. In 1994, Ferguson founded Vermeer Technologies, one of the first companies focused on producing software for the Internet and created the first Web site development tool, FrontPage. In 1996, Ferguson sold the company corporation Microsoft, which integrated with Microsoft Office FrontPage. In 2006, the avid cinephile and learning that there is no documentation to analyze the policy of the United States in Iraq, Ferguson founded Representational Pictures production company, with which he made two documentaries, No End in Sight (Oscar nomination for Best Documentary feature) and Inside Job.
The documentary provides the most comprehensive analysis of the fabric of the global financial crisis started in 2008. Causing damage of over 20 trillion U.S. dollars and leaving millions jobless and / or home, is the deepest crisis since the Great Depression and pushed the world economy closes to collapse.
