His music has been blamed for the bad behavior of teenagers across the country, and Manson found himself at the center of controversy following the tragic shootings at Columbine High School. Bio channel has made this documentary for everyone, they didn’t film specially for his fans, it covers his story in a way that made it accessible to the general public, which is probably why some of the information or events we see as crucial were either not covered in as much detail, or conversely were focal, when we would already know them inside and out. It’s the same with not naming people like Ginger Fish, or only interviewing a certain cross-section of people. This was not a vast, epic analysis of the Marilyn Manson creative story from 1989-2010, it was a formulaic account of the key aspects of his life and the band bearing the same name.
